Growing up in a working-class family that lived in an upper-class suburb of Atlanta, I witnessed first-hand the power of money. Watching my parents work a lot more and have a lot less than that of their suburban cohort, triggered my desire to learn more about financial planning. After spending time in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, I pursued a degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from Kennesaw State University. I moved to Tampa, FL to begin my career with Equitable Advisors because it was an opportunity to work for one of the most reputable firms in the industry.
